Individual learning plans are created for each student and focus on the students’ interests, learning styles, academic strengths, and areas of need.
During their 3rd-5th year, our child will develop skills in:
Reading Comprehension, Grammar & Writing:
Parts of speech, sequencing, fact and opinion, inferences, dictionary skills, paragraph writing, grammar, exposure to various genres of literature, sentence structure, and comprehension skills
Mathematics:
Place value, problem-solving, multiplication and division facts, long division, geometry, square roots, decimals, fractions, graphing
Science:
Animal life cycles, matter, earth, solar system, weather, water cycle, plant life cycle, measurement tools, electricity, friction, gravity, animal habitats

Social Studies & Geography:
Government, early U.S. settlement, cultures, communities, maps, United States regions, Missouri history
​Technology:
Navigation of multiple programs (online), keyboarding skills, Internet search techniques, Coding, robotics, design, beginning engineering concepts, digital citizenship & digital Gmail responsibility, and basic video production
Arts:
Color, exploration of art medias, introduction to instruments & choir
​Religion:
Old and New Testament, Liturgical year, Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, Sacraments, Sacramentals, saints, miracles of Jesus
Before & After School Care
Before and after school care is offered for all families who need it. Our extended morning care hours run from 6:30am- 7:30 am
and after care is 3:30 pm- 6:00 pm. For more information on availability and fees, please visit our admissions page.
