Your Child's Early Education Matters...

At St. Patrick Early Childhood Development Center, we promote the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each child. We provide a safe, caring, and academically sound environment for the young children of our community, for children ages 2 through 5.
*New hours for full day ECC are 5:45 pm and Extended Day Program-Revised hours—closes at 5:45 pm.
We believe in the uniqueness of each child, in giving our students opportunities for hands-on, engaging activities, that allow him/her to learn and grow at his/her own pace.
Our Director
Ms. Lilly Winkeljohn, has 33 of years experience in Early Education. She believes in giving her students real-world experience, getting them out into nature to experiment, investigate, and explore. We believe that fun, learning activities build our students’ brains, bodies, and character traits for later life.
Our Philosophy
Our teachers provide experiences each day to help children grow. Our philosophy is that young children learn best by doing while integrating learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology. Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. All programs are developmentally appropriate with the added bonus of Catholic education and prayer.
Focus on Outdoor Learning
Under Ms. Lilly’s guidance, students learn through gardening, planting, nurturing, cultivating, and harvesting. Outdoor time is essential to learning, and students are given multiple periods throughout the day to be outside exploring rocks and bugs, dig in the dirt, gaze at the clouds, jump in puddles, identify different bird types, collect artifacts, construct things, or even just play games outdoors with friends.
