STEM Class

St. Patrick School students attend STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) class three times per week.  During this time, they investigate, explore, discover, and create through hands-on engaging lessons.  This week, I popped in as our first graders were learning about how electricity works and then I watched as they were given a chance to build (using Legos) something they've seen in the world that uses electricity.

It was exciting to watch these young students use their minds to think and their hands to create!
